The Space
The Elysian Studio is over 700 square feet and features soaring 12' ceilings, a private restroom, and four west-facing windows. The space is filled with the character one would expect of a century-old building in the warehouse district: including exposed brick, open beams, and hardwood floors.
Functionality
Designed with diverse functionality in mind, half the studio features white walls to reflect clean natural light, and half the studio features darker walls ideal for dramatic strobe lighting. The matte white, grey, and dark blue walls can each be used as backdrops themselves, or photographers are welcome to use one of the easily accessible 9' paper rolls: currently in Bone, Chestnut, and Thunder Grey.
Details
Guest photographers are welcome to make use of the variety of props available in the space, including the large backdrop stand, futon couch/bed, antique French loveseat, adult & toddler-sized wicker peacock chairs, white desk, white farmhouse bench, little red wagon, and various other stools, ladders, and chairs.
